Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Brazilian Ambassador to Jordan Discuss Bilateral Relations

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office the Brazilian Ambassador to Jordan, HE Mr. Ruy Amaral, with Mr. Flávio Dontal,  head of the Embassy Trade and Economic Sector, to discuss ways of developing bilateral relations between.  

During the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh congratulated Brazil on its 200th Anniversary of Independence, stating that TAG.Global would participate in the massive celebrations through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Business and Culture Radio & TV (TAGBC), by hosting elite personalities from Brazil’s Embassy to promote Brazilian history, civilization, and culture.

He also explained that the TAGBC Radio would broadcast the events organized by the Embassy over a week in Amman, including the concert,   the first part of which will be entirely dedicated to the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos, the most important Brazilian classical composer of the 20th century, scheduled to take place on September 29; led by Italian Maestro and Pianist, Marco Morrone, accompanied by Soprano Kako Haddad & Tenor Ady Naber, in addition to Brazilian music pieces. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts in developing the bilateral relations between Jordan and Brazil, praising his eagerness for strengthening the economic ties between the two countries.

He further stressed TAG.Global’s readiness to provide all its professional services to Brazil in various fields.  

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh talked about the latest achievements TAG.Global accomplished in manufacturing, designing and producing high quality laptops, tablets and smartphones at affordable prices, affirming the importance of entering the Brazilian markets in order to meet the emerging needs for such services.

For his part, the Ambassador congratulated Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh on establishing the new office in São Paulo, Brazil, wishing more success and accomplishments on the occasion of TAG.Global’s 50th Anniversary. 

Ambassador Amaral expressed his pride in the deep-rooted ties with TAG.Global, praising the efforts made in establishing the TAG.Global’s office in Brazil and underlining its important role in view of the recent growth of trade between Jordan and Brazil; which increased to nearly half a billion dollars in 2021. 

He pointed out that Jordan's exports to Brazil have also increased by 1600 percent in the last three years; which demonstrates the strong trade and economic partnership between the two countries.
